Hampshire County Council
Driving down the road traffic accident rate
Hampshire, in common with many other county councils, is concerned with the high rates of road traffic accidents occurring across the county. The causes were found to be widespread and numerous, from pedestrian teenagers being distracted by their mobile phones, and motorists not wearing seatbelts to young men speeding to motorcyclists not wearing the right clothing.
Working closely with Hampshire we developed a series of campaigns to address each issue. Individual campaigns were created, each with their own art directional style, according to the message and target market. Because road accident figures are compiled yearly it is too early to say what effect these campaigns have had, but they have been received positively by clients and stakeholders.
