We’re delighted to announce that we’ve started working with UTC South Durham, a purpose-built technical school and sixth form based in the North East of England.
Having an extensive knowledge of, and a breadth of experience in, the higher and further education sectors meant that we were selected as the ideal agency to become an extension of the UTC’s marketing team.
After already forging a strong client relationship with one of their founders, the University of Sunderland, we’re looking forward to helping the UTC attract high calibre students through a rounded mixed media campaign. We’ll be working closely with them to provide brand reinforcement, and to increase open day attendance and overall course applications.
The specialist college opened its doors in September 2016 and offers a range of academic GCSEs and A-Levels. Students develop their technical knowledge and work directly with the region’s employers – a focused approach to education which is new to the North East of England. Employers and parents say that young people leave the UTC with strong workplace skills and a confidence that sets them up for future careers.
